Alejandro Ly

VP Exploration

Alejandro has more than 25 years of discovery-driven experience across the Americas, advancing projects from early-stage prospecting through resource development and feasibility. A dual U.S.–Peruvian exploration geologist and Certified Professional Geologist (AIPG CPG 11723), he played a central role in the discovery and definition of Barrick’s 15+ Moz Goldrush deposit in Nevada during his nine-year tenure with Barrick Gold and contributed to the development of the 30 Moz Donlin Gold deposit in Alaska. His work earned the 2014 Thayer Lindsley Award for International Mineral Discovery of the Year, and he has since held senior technical and project leadership roles with Rio Tinto, MMG, and Nyrstar.
